Hindu weddings are long last weddings and I mean it, I have done several of them some last 3 days, which is exhausting , but these hindu weddings are reach of colours and culture, always a pleasure to document this kind of events.

We start with the hindu wedding doing all the hindu marriage key events, first, welcoming the groom, Bride’s parents greet the groom with welcome Aarati, followed by the bride arrival escalated by her uncles, the Vadhu Aagman, to bless the occasion, some prays are offered to Shri Ganesha. Then Kannyadaanam  where the bide si give away by their parents where bride and boom commits to each other to pursue Dharma, Artha, Kama, and  Moksha. It is beautiful how each other let raise fall on each other to represent the Akshatropanam. Then the bride and groom places a beautiful necklace around each others neck, this is the formal acceptance of each other called Mangalsutrabandhanam and Panigrahanam. we have a hard time to light the fire for the vivah homa beck can be windy and that makes light harder to make! but well after the light could be made the bride and groom walked in circles to represent the laja home and agni pradakshina all family where around then for this, supporting each key event of the marriage, then the bride and groom did the saptapadi, mangalashtakam and finally the ashirvad which is the final blessing.

During the hindu wedding there were also a christian wedding where they exchange bows, rings and the classical first kissing as well
