Underwater photography workshop in Tulum
“I saw your underwater photography about 4 years ago”, Yuki told me.
I didn’t know my work was observed in Japan, I think “this is awesome”
Yuki was coming for his honeymoon to Mexico and wanted to do a shooting, but found me and though about a workshop also
I met them Yuki and Chie in Playa del Carmen for the workshop and immediately feel their kindness and respect, very educated.
We spend a full day of theory about dive and swim techniques, light, shoot skills, the second day we spend in a Cenote in Tulum put in practice what we though in the theory.
Chie offer to be our workshop model, we happily did extra shoots we all enjoyed
The most important thing in underwater photography is swimming, not for the couple, for the photographer, the best you swim the better photos can be taken, I am still not saying I am getting good shoots, I just try to.
I love how this pose look on asian people, bring me images in my mind about those places and the strong affection for the religion, Asia is an amazing area to visit and I hope I do some day.
